USTAR Password

In order to provide the highest level of security and reliability, the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations requires users to change their password every 180 days.  This requirement is in accordance with the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and US Department of Labor procedures and best practices.

Password requirements are:

• Password must be at least six (6) characters in length.
• It is recommended that your Password not contain all or part of the user name or user ID.
• The password must contain at least one character from each of the following categories:
  1. Upper case alphabetic characters (A through Z).
  2. Lowercase alphabetic characters (a through z).
  3. Numeric characters (0 through 9).

Characters must be entered as assigned, and case sensitivity applies.   Special characters are allowed.   Passwords are required to be changed every 180 days.  Reuse of the previous three (3) passwords will not be permitted.  Passwords will become disabled upon five (5) consecutive invalid sign-on attempts.
