Mo Labor Dept. to Honor Springfield Co with Safety Award
Watts Radiant Receives SHARP Award, Cited as Best in Workplace Safety
St. Louis, Mo- On July 19, the Labor Department will welcome its newest member into the SHARP. Watts Radiant of Springfield will be honored for its achievement during a ceremony at the place of business and will be presented with a Certificate of Recognition, a SHARP flag for displaying outside the facility, and a proclamation issued by Gov. Jay Nixon.
Watts Radiant employs more than 130 people in Missouri and manufactures both hydronic and electric components for radiant heating and snow melting applications.
SHARP is a reward program designed to provide incentives and support to smaller, high-hazard employers to work with their employees to develop, implement, and continuously improve the effectiveness of their workplace safety and health programs.
