Job Questions that Cross the Line

Chief Human Relations Officer Cornell Dillard explains how employment discrimination is becoming more of an issue especially for those looking for a job or those who have a job and are being retaliated against because they filed a complaint due to unfair treatment. The Department's Missouri Commission on Human Rights sees approximately 2,000 discrimination complaints each year, and nearly 90% of those are from workers who feel they have been discriminated against on the job. Cornell tells how a job interview can go sour for employers who do not know the law and how to protect yourself from discrimination in the workplace.
